The Sant’Egidio farm is located in the basin of Fontanella di Sotto il Monte Giovanni XXII,I in the province of Bergamo, with a wonderful privileged view of the Po Valley.
It spreads over three hectares of terraced vineyards on the slopes of Monte Canto, to which is added an area cultivated with olives and from which a small production of a fragrant extra virgin olive oil is made from the 4 cultivars typical of the Lombard lakes: Pendolino, Casaliva, Leccino and Frantoio.
The farm is family-owned and aims to protect the land and produce quality.
Conducted with organic methods, here all operations-from winter pruning to harvesting-are carried out manually, with absolute control of yield per hectare and quality, to obtain healthy grapes rich in flavor that then return in the glass the result of a season and an experience of culture and typicality of the territory.
