Morning dedicated to a walk through the streets of beautiful Bergamo Alta, accompanied by a certified tour guide.
Nestled in the hills, it has dominated the plain since Roman times. During the city tour you can admire Piazza Vecchia with the Palazzo della Ragione, the Civic Tower, known as the Campanone, the old town hall, now home to the library. From which you will then continue to discover the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, a treasure trove of frescoes, stuccoes, tapestries and wooden inlays made to the design of the world-famous artist Lorenzo Lotto.
Free lunch or, upon request, possibility of lunch in a restaurant with a typical menu.
In the afternoon, entrance with guided tour of Palazzo and Giardini Moroni. Seventeenth-century palace that preserves ornate, furnished interiors and a rich art collection, as well as an Italian garden and a vast orangery that make up an evocative historic park in the heart of Città Alta.
At the end of the visit, a tasty snack awaits you at a historic pastry shop to sample three typical sweets (polentina mignon, sample of Torta Donizetti, Stracciatella ice cream cup) accompanied by a drink.
