\nIn the beautiful Malpaga Castle, just 15 km from the center of Bergamo, scheduled for a historical dinner that will immerse you in either the world of witches or the medieval world. Malpaga Castle is a perfectly preserved architectural jewel, famous for being the residence of Bergamo condottiere Bartolomeo Colleoni around 1450. It sits in a bucolic landscape, surrounded by green fields in an oasis of peace and silence. The perfect atmosphere for a plunge into the past with medieval and witches’ dinners, a sumptuous four-course banquet and, to delight the evening, the typical rituals of the time. A 15th-century style dinner. The various courses will be introduced by the Lady of the Game, who will explain the origin of the various dishes and their connection to the witch tradition: herbs spices and ingredients had very strong symbolic values and corroborated by ancient superstitions related to witchcraft. The dinner will be interspersed with very evocative ritual moments that will bring us back to relive long-lost customs related to the ancestral secrets of female wisdom. The strictly historical menu will be cooked according to recipes found in ancient manuscripts. The castle’s Banquet Hall will host the large convivial table that will be set according to medieval customs with period furniture and tableware, candle lighting and themed arrangements. The atmosphere will be made even more atmospheric by the large, fully functioning 15th-century fireplace.
