Marne Castle<\/strong> is located in the quaint village of Filago, amidst lush vegetation. Although some historians trace its origins to the time of Roman rule, several remodels have given the complex a typical Renaissance structure, with wide spaces, the fountain, the wall well, and above all a well-kept indoor garden, colored by rich varieties of flowers and plants.<\/p>\n If you look out from the courtyard terrace, you will see that the castle is perched on a rocky outcrop, below which flows the Dordo stream, a tributary of the Brembo, which is also not far away.
